Who We Need
Sabel Systems is now accepting applications from Marine Corps logistics professionals interested in providing support services to the Marine Corps’ Logistics Plans and Operations Branch (LPO). The overall objective of this contract is to provide operational expertise, prepositioning strategies, and war reserve management support to the LPO branch, DC I&L, and DC PP&O. This support will span current and future operations, strategic mobility planning and GPN integration, with dedicated liaisons to MARFOR/MEFs, and also includes executive administrative support. The primary objective of this support is to enhance the effectiveness of the Marine Corps’ prepositioning and war reserve capabilities.
Sabel Systems requires a Military Logistics Operational Planning Subject Matter Expert to support LPO-1 (Operations). The contractor will offer expertise in logistics operational planning, enabling LPO to achieve its goals and objectives, while also ensuring the effective implementation of logistics operational plans and equipment allowance management programs. All work will be performed at the Pentagon. Services require occasional domestic and international travel. This position requires a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
What You’ll Do

- Provide subject matter expertise for Operations Plan (OPLAN) support, planning and analysis at both the Unclassified and Classified levels (up to TS/SCI).
- Support the DC I&L in engaging with MARFOR and advocating for Service Title X requirements, to include recommending and drafting shortfalls and support strategies and providing recurring staff analysis for logistics advocacy requirements at the Unclassified and Classified levels (up to TS/SCI);
- Provide staff support for Service Logistics Plans, Future and Current Operations and executive-level administrative support as required at the Unclassified and Classified levels (up to TS/SCI);
- Assist in developing short, mid and long-range plans for Marine Corps equipment allowance management programs, including recommending Equipment Allowance Plans that ensure sufficient equipment for the plan’s stated duration (up to TS/SCI);
- Provide administrative support, including reviewing, drafting and responding to Department of Navy (DoN) Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) on Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network, (NIPRNet), Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) Messages, Information, Position and Decision Papers, PowerPoint Briefs or other documents as required at the Unclassified and Classified levels (up to TS/SCI);
- Travel may be required (~10-20%); and
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen;
- Must maintain a TS/SCI clearance; and
- At least ten (10) years of experience performing functions laid out in the responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Operational Logistics Experience (MARFOR, Joint and/or MEF experience);
- Familiarity with Global Force Management Planning for rotational and emergent requirements;
- Knowledge of the organization structure of Marine Corps operating forces, the Support Establishment, Reserves, and other DoD agencies;
- Knowledge of DoD, Department of the Navy and Marine Corps material management plans, policies, objectives and organizational structure;
- Knowledge of Marine Corps worldwide logistics operations in both peacetime and combat;
- Proficiency in knowledge management to include: 1) assessing needs and defining strategy, 2) analyze and design, 3) pilot and implement and 4) monitor and improve;
- Mastery of Headquarters Marine Corps administrative organization, processes and procedures;
- Experience with GCCS-MC and TFSMS; and
- Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Salary and Benefits
The range for this position is between $120,000 and $160,000. Actual salary will be negotiated with this position’s Hiring Manager and can vary depending on the following factors: Billable contract and labor category, experience, skills, education /certifications/ licenses & geographic location.
