About the Role:
The Facilities Maintenance leader is responsible for overseeing all equipment maintenance and facility functions supporting building operations. These functions include the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC, facility, and property maintenance, including facility inspections and compliance.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Essential Functions:
- Implements and maintains a preventative maintenance program to ensure equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintains records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Addresses safety hazards and implement corrective actions
- Ensures that buildings and grounds meet safety regulations and standards
- Schedules and coordinates major repairs and maintenance projects
- Performs routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and general upkeep
- Inspects and diagnoses problems and figure out the best way to correct them
- Installs, repairs, or replacement equipment and fixtures
- Fixes or replaces faulty electrical switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Maintains and repairs machinery, mechanical equipment, and buildings
- Diagnoses and repairs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical issues
- Manages and maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
- Maintains landscaping and groundskeeping as needed
- Maintains storm readiness as needed
- Picks up and delivers tools and equipment as needed", and "accepts, loads and unloads deliveries as needed.
- Provides support for events and special projects
- Works with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and efficient repairs and maintenance
- May also be responsible for overseeing and performing the duties associated with events, including executing the set-up plan in a timely manner, breakdowns are completed on schedule with spaces returned to normal state.
- Additional duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Have a valid Driver License
- Ability to Operate a Forklift.
- 2 or more years of facility maintenance experience.
- Knowledgeable of electrical systems, PLC and HMI programing and troubleshooting, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Computer capabilities, including experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point), email and the Internet.
- Works methodically and is highly organized and detail oriented.
- Manages time efficiently. Ability to manage multiple priorities without missing deadlines.
- Proven experience fostering and building relationships with strong communication skills, organization and teamwork, and mutual respect throughout the company.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
