Overview
Our Saatchi New York office is looking for college seniors and recent graduates who are eager to learn and gain experience with real client work at an agency! Saatchi’s Summer Internship is a paid 9-week hybrid program from June 15th- August 14th with an opportunity for 4-day work week, providing lessons from various departments at an agency, opportunity to work alongside and gain mentorship from advertising professionals and leaders, in addition to working on real client work.
As an intern, we expect you to give us your energy, enthusiasm, and thirst for knowledge, and we'll give you a hands-on, insider introduction to working at this advertising agency! More than just a resume-builder, our internship program will challenge your expectations, broaden your horizons, and show you why advertising is our passion and why we live to influence popular culture. Responsibilities
As an Intern - Analytics & Technology, here’s what you’ll do:
- Learn how technology, analytics and data science contribute to a fast-paced retail business.
- Assist with testing and basic maintenance of analytics, web and mobile technologies.
- Perform QA and help reproduce and prioritize bugs.
- Fix simple bugs under guidance.
- Work on small front‑end tasks and custom responsive landing pages (HTML/CSS/JS) with mentorship.
- Collaborate with developers to implement features and integrate third‑party APIs.
- Review user feedback and analytics to help identify issues.
- Learn and apply basic accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and responsive design principles.
- Document work and notations on fixes and features.
- Curiosity and strong capacity for self-learning.
- Class projects, bootcamp work, or personal projects in front and back-end development.
- Preferred (but not required) skills:
- Basic familiarity with HTML.
- Basic familiarity with CSS.
- Basic familiarity with JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive design fundamentals (media queries, flexbox, grid).
- Interest in server‑side languages such as PHP, Python, or Node.
- Interest in databases such as MySQL.
- Good verbal communication and teamwork skills.
- Coursework, portfolio demonstrating some full stack dev work.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
