Responsibilities:
- Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support to customers across multiple complex systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex electro-mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked and/or wireless systems.
- Resolve complex issues independently or in collaboration with others, as needed.
- Respond to situations where first-line technicians are unable to isolate or resolve issues with malfunctioning equipment or software.
- Identify and report design, reliability, and maintenance issues, as well as software bugs, to design and software engineering teams.
- Interact frequently with customers to provide technical support and develop strong relationships.
- Support additional company functions, including customer installations and training, as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25% annually (approximately 2 - 4 trips per quarter).

Skills and Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in an engineering discipline with 2 years of related experience, or an MA/MS degree in an engineering discipline, or 6 years of military or aerospace experience.
- Experience with the design, operation, or maintenance of radar and surveillance systems.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build positive customer relationships through continued, long-term interaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Networking experience or certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network ).
- Hardware and/or electrical installation experience.
- Experience with Unix, Linux, and MATLAB.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain a clearance.
