We're looking for experienced Crew Chiefs we can trust.
At S3, once you're assigned a project, you run it. You communicate directly with the contractor, make field decisions, take ownership of the work, and get the job done.
No layers of corporate management.
No one looking over your shoulder all day.

THE MONEY$38–$50/hour depending on experience
Overtime paid at 1.5×
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Annual Performance Bonus — Up to $14,000
With overtime, an experienced Crew Chief has the opportunity to earn $120,000 per year, plus benefits.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGS3 specializes heavily in construction surveying and staking.
Our work includes commercial and industrial sites, roadways, utilities, large-scale solar, municipal infrastructure, grading and site development.
Typical staking includes:
• Project control & localization
• Rough grade
• Building corners & offsets
• Building pads & bluetops
• Curb & gutter
• Storm drain
• Sewer & water
• Dry utilities
• Roadway staking
• Walls & fences
• Finish grade & bluetops
• As-built surveys
• Topographic surveys
You'll work directly with contractors and superintendents**.**
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FORWe're looking for:
✓ 3 years construction surveying/staking experience
✓ Crew Chief or Party Chief experience
✓ Strong construction plan-reading skills
✓ Strong understanding of construction staking and tolerances
✓ Trimble GPS and robotic total station experience
✓ Ability to calculate and solve problems in the field
✓ Ability to work independently
✓ Good communication with contractors and superintendents
✓ Valid driver's license and clean driving record
✓ Someone who takes pride in producing accurate work
Experience with Trimble Siteworks, TSC7, Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center is a plus.
