Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gilbert, AZ, for a Survey Crew Chief. The Survey Crew Chief will oversee and direct field survey operations, including conducting topographic, construction staking surveys. Responsibilities include the setup, calibration, and operation of survey equipment, such as total stations, as well as managing survey data collection to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. The role will require working collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results for various land surveying projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Topographic Surveys and Construction Staking
- Skill in the use of Trimble GPS and Total Station instruments for accurate data collection
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Proficient understanding of land surveying principles, practices, and techniques
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain project efficiency
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal surveying regulations is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a formal education in land surveying or related field is an advantage
