Position Title: Lead M365 System Engineer
Position Overview
S2Technologies is actively seeking a Lead M365 System Engineer to support for an existing Microsoft 365 Cloud Environment within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Oversee our support for integration, management, security, and optimization of key services including Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, AvePoint Online Services, Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot. The support includes configuration management and troubleshooting of these MS365 platforms to provide optimal functionality and user experience.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $185,000

The support includes configuration management and troubleshooting of these MS365 platforms to provide optimal functionality and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Possess expertise and in-depth knowledge of the entire M365 Cloud Suite platform
- Oversee and manage tasks related to the maintenance and administration of the IRS Enterprise
- Support development of data readiness plans and integration of Purview for sensitive data protection
- Work with SharePoint Online administration, Windows servers, SQL clusters
- Design and implement Power Platform environments and pipelines
- Support Microsoft product enhancements: Defender, Copilots, Loop, Purview, Graph connector
- Manage SharePoint on-premises farm infrastructure
- Ensure security (AvePoint Online Services, tenant-to-tenant, Splunk, encryption, IP restrictions)
- Establish enterprise policies, manage Power Platform component application development
- Manage Security Change Requests, audit logging, and document related solutions
- Provide cyber architect support and collaborate with other systems/support staff
- Complete documentation and reporting (bi-weekly status reports, monthly consolidated reports)
- Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Based Suite in a large corporate/government environment
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Flow)
- Microsoft 365 development and SharePoint Administration
- Experience with migrations, security, and governance practices
- Experience developing PowerApps models, customizing SharePoint lists with PowerApps
- Experience in managing user permissions, data retention, and compliance settings
- Knowledge and experience with Copilot for Power Apps, Copilot for Power Automate, and AI Builder
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with M365 and AvePoint services
- .NET development skills (C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Knowledge of Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, Azure ecosystem
- Knowledge of Defender, Purview, Graph Connector, Loop
- Bi-weekly/monthly technical/support documentation
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to multiple audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships
