Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes.
- Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Verify delivery orders, check for accuracy, and obtain signatures upon delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and managing stock efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities to prevent accidents or damages.
- Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues professionally.
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with knowledge of route driving and logistics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks
- Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving inventory or equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
