Primary Function

This position has direct responsibility for personnel, equipment, scheduling, safety, quality, workmanship, and completion of assigned projects on time and within the estimated budget. This position may include duties within, but not be limited to: Asphalt Material, Equipment, Plant, and Electrical.

Essential Duties
- Supervise and direct crew to assure completion of assigned project as instructed by the
- See that new personnel receive proper orientation to acquaint them with company policies,
- Conduct periodic evaluation of assigned personnel with special emphasis on their
- Assist and direct crews in proper use of equipment, improving job performance, controlling

- Perform equipment inspections, request maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Order materials as needed for the project or operation of the plant.
- Monitor assigned personnel and maintain regular work hours. Maintain daily payroll records
- Complete all required daily reports, verify their accuracy and transmit promptly to the
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA, MSHA, local laws, ordinances, and EPA regulations.
- Ensure all work is performed with an emphasis on safety. Insist upon compliance of all safety
- Maintain good relations with the general public, engineers, architects, inspectors and

- Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in asphalt plant operations
- Experience with NCDOT requirements
