Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations for our small, well established machine shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience in QuickBooks and office management to ensure that our workplace runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication and leadership abilities to support our team and manage various office functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the company Owner & shop floor.
- Oversee daily office operations.
- Manage all accounts payable and receivable.
- Responsible for customer account upkeep.
- Manage the work schedule to ensure parts are completed and delivered on time.
- Maintain administrative processes, including filing systems and documentation.
- Process payroll using ADP & QuickBooks.
- Responsible for ordering all necessary supplies, tools & materials.
- Assists with quality control, packaging & shipping of finished products.
- Handle all traditional office duties such as answering phone calls, company emails, file management & data entry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for financial management.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
