What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Lab Technician position at S&S Flavors?
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- File Certificate of Analysis's, Safety Data Sheets, Spec Sheets and other misc. documents in binders in Lab/Warehouse and on the computer
- Request required documents from packaging/raw material suppliers, contractors, etc.
- Research Supplier's documentation and interpret/organize information
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets
- Deduction of Inventory Batch cards via internal software
- Conduct physical inventory in warehouse. Must be able to lift 20lbs
- Maintain communication with Quality Control, Plant Manager and/or BRC Supervisor
- Must be able to follow GMP's (Good Manufacturing Processes) - No jewelry of any kind is allowed in warehouse, no nail polish or false fingernails, no tobacco products is allowed in the entire facility, etc.
- Assist with day to day operations with the Food Safety Director
Skills
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Detailed-Oriented
- Problem Solving
- Organized
- Team Player
- Experience in Food Industry or with BRCGS Auditing process is a plus
- Must be open to many different tasks within the company
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
