Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Ensure clients' rights are respected and advocate on their behalf
- Create a safe and supportive environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and social workers to implement care plans
- Assist with hospice care, home care, or assisted living services as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Knowledge of social work systems and patient care practices
- Experience in meal preparation and hospice care is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to uphold resident rights and maintain confidentiality
