The ideal candidate should have strong experience developing scalable APIs, integrating with third-party systems, and working in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround expectations.
We are looking for a skilled Node.js & API Engineer focused on building, enhancing, and optimizing backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience developing scalable APIs, integrating with third-party systems, and working in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Node.js
- Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
- Integrate APIs with internal and external systems
- Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize code, and ensure high application reliability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Support deployment processes and provide quick fixes when needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 6 years of professional experience in backend development
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks)
- Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skill
