Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Node.js & API Engineer focused on building, enhancing, and optimizing backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience developing scalable APIs, integrating with third-party systems, and working in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Node.js
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices
• Integrate APIs with internal and external systems
• Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize code, and ensure high application reliability
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Support deployment processes and provide quick fixes when needed
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 6 years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js, or similar frameworks)
• Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, and best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.)
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skill
