About the Role
S&K Industrial is looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Industrial Tool Repair Technician to join our team in Winchester.
This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and maintaining a variety of industrial tools and equipment. You'll primarily work with pneumatic tools and air hoists, along with DC assembly tools and other related equipment. You'll diagnose problems, make necessary repairs, and ensure equipment is ready to go back into service.
You'll develop a deep understanding of the equipment we service, including how it works, common failure points, and how to diagnose and repair it.
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience repairing industrial tools and strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys figuring out how things work and getting equipment back into working order.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a variety of industrial tools and hoists, including mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, reassemble, and perform routine maintenance on tools, hoists and components
- Use service manuals, parts diagrams, and other technical information to diagnose and complete repairs
- Test repaired tools to verify proper operation and performance, including torque testing and calibration as applicable
- Receive, inspect, and inventory tools and equipment; coordinate parts, document repairs, and communicate repair status with customers and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist with other shop and service work as needed
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing tools or maintaining mechanical equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic shop equipment, with the ability to accurately disassemble and reassemble equipment
- Good attention to detail when working with small or precision components
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, parts diagrams, and basic schematics; basic electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with electrical and electronic components in industrial tools
- Dependable, organized, willing to learn, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
