What You’ll Be Doing
Tax Compliance & Preparation
- Prepare complex U.S. tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations.
- Review tax returns prepared by staff and provide feedback, accuracy checks, and tax-saving recommendations.
- Manage engagement budgets and ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Client Interaction & Advisory
- Work directly with key client contacts to gather information, resolve tax issues, and offer process or business improvements.
- Build a meaningful understanding of each client’s operations, workflows, and objectives.
- Assist partners on proposals and BD calls to support firm growth.
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns across multiple tax projects.
- Help elevate the team by providing coaching, technical guidance, and on-the-job training.
Technical Expertise & Research
- Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and foreign tax considerations.
- Apply US GAAP and tax compliance principles across client engagements.
- Identify issues proactively and offer solutions that support compliance and tax optimization.
Work Schedule & Expectations
Public accounting moves fast — especially during peak seasons.
- Overtime is expected during filing deadlines.

What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of professional tax experience, ideally within public accounting.
- Strong tax accounting skills with a solid foundation in US GAAP and federal/state tax compliance.
- Excellent project management abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Natural leadership skills with experience supervising and developing staff.
- Ability to juggle multiple engagements, communicate effectively, and deliver superior client service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting (or related field).
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam; CPA pursuit encouraged.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
