What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist position at S+H Search?
We are looking for a direct hire/permanent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's growing team in Coppell, TX. Reports directly to the AR/Billing Manager.
- Salary: up to $50k
- Location: Coppell, TX
- Onsite role M-F
- Must have at least 1 year of A/R experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process invoices for billing
- Review and reconcile customer accounts
- Collect customer payments and enter/record cash deposits
- Follow up with customers on past due accounts and collections
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely manner
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and aging schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in other accounting functions as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields preferred, not required
- 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, and billing; experience in accounting is preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Motivated to go above and beyond in learning and completing new tasks
- Proactive in continuing to next tasks without management directions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with collections and resolving customer disputes is preferred
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
