S&H Machine, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and organizational support.
The HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily HR operations, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting support, training coordination, and maintaining employee records.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain employee records related to hiring, promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations
- Coordinate onboarding and New Employee Orientation programs
- Support employee training, evaluations, and compliance tracking
- Administer employee benefit programs
- Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, phone screens, interviews, and background checks
- Maintain HR documents such as organizational charts, handbooks, and job descriptions
- Support employee relations and respond to employee concerns
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and employment regulations
- Partner with managers to support continuous improvement initiatives and workforce development
- Maintain accurate HR and training records within company systems
- Associate degree or equivalent preferred
- 1–3 years of related HR or administrative experience preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365; familiarity with HR systems preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
This position works onsite in a manufacturing environment and requires regular interaction with employees across departments.
