Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Terminal Manager to lead our logistics operations at our transportation hub. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily terminal activities, manage transportation processes, and ensure seamless coordination across all supply chain functions. Your leadership will drive efficiency, optimize resources, and uphold safety standards to support our company's growth and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Manage daily terminal operations, dispatch, and driver activity
- Supervise and support dispatch and customer service staff
- Lead, schedule, and support company drivers
- Ensure DOT, FMCSA, and company safety compliance
- Monitor on-time performance, service levels, and utilization
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and address equipment issues
- Handle customer service escalations and operational issues
- Promote a safety-first, accountable work environment
What We're Looking For
- Experience in terminal operations or fleet management
- Experience managing drivers and office staff
- Strong knowledge of DOT and driver compliance
- Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on role
- Experience with TMS/dispatch systems preferred
Pay: $54,110.42 - $65,165.23 per year
