What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at S AND J BUILDERS, INC.?
We are looking for a skilled Painter to paint the interior and exterior of structures, buildings and other surfaces.
- Prepare, finish and paint walls and ceiling and woodwork as assigned.
- Competent in wall repair, patching and caulking of walls and door frames.
- Proficient with brush and roller.
- Determine the type of paint required for application to different surfaces.
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience as a painter.
- Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques.
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulking guns etc.).
- Good basic math skills.
- Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Must have previous painting construction experience.
- Must have your own, reliable, transportation-and VALID Driver's License.
- 18 years or older.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
