Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and equipment to various locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assemble appliances as needed at the delivery site, ensuring they are set up correctly for customer use.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each job completed.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch of deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Experience in field service or as a service technician is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) safely.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
