We’re looking for motivatedindependent contractors who have their own reliable vehicle and also take pride in delivering packages safely and on time.
Job Description
As anIndependent Contractor Delivery Driver (1099), you’ll be using your own vehicle for picking up and delivering a variety of packages to residential and commercial customers throughout the WNY area. You’ll manage your own routes, maintain your vehicle, and ensure timely and professional service.
Strongly recommend cargo vans or mini vans.
Responsibilities
- Pick up, load, and deliver packages accurately and efficiently
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with dispatch
- Handle packages with care and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain your vehicle in good working condition
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- minivan or cargo van.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate routes efficiently
- Reliable smartphone for route navigation and communication
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience with commercial driving is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
- Excellent navigation skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- A professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Compensation
- Average weekly earnings between $600 – $2,500
