Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robotic systems and automation solutions tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Create robot simulations for proof of concept and to analyze robot reach and capabilities.
- Use ladder logic to program PLCs (Programable Logic Controllers) and communicate between robot and system peripherals.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, and schematics to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of robotic parts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics systems into existing manufacturing workflows.
- Stay current with advancements in robotics technology, manufacturing techniques, and industry standards to continuously improve system capabilities.
Experience
- Hands-on experience reading schematics and technical drawings related to machining and robotics.
- Understanding of schematics related to electrical wiring, control systems, or automation components is a plus.
- Prior involvement in developing or maintaining robotics or automation projects within manufacturing settings is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree required. preferably in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree.
