What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Specialist/Collections position at Rytech Restoration?

What are the core responsibilities of an AR?
- Monitor account details for non-payments and open/aged receivables
- Minimum 30 phone calls a day to check on outstanding payments
- Work with external customers to satisfy billing inquiries
- Develop aging reports for franchisees you will be assigned to oversee
- Conference calls with Franchise Owners to analyze their open receivables and game-plan on how best to obtain outstanding funds
- Adhere to department policies and procedures
- Anticipate customer (internal and external) needs and foster excellent customer service
- Assist other departments as needed during Cat times
What skills and qualifications make the best employee?
- Experience in accounts receivable activities is desired
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience working in NetSuite not mandatory but ability to adapt to new systems a must
- The ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work proactively with department leaders and multiple levels of management
- Ability to work with difficult situations related to collections
- Experience working in the restoration industry is a plus
Job Type:
Temporary.
Full-time (40-hour work week).
Training 2 weeks on-site Kennesaw GA 30144, remote thereafter.
Compensation & Benefits:
Account Receivable Specialists (AR) shall be paid on an hourly basis for all work performed during the Workweek. Overtime is as needed.
