As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently with minimal assistance. As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently with minimal assistance. Your expertise will help us develop a steady customer base, and your proactive approach will see you making impactful in-person sales calls.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Plans territory/account approach and manages own resources
- Assists in training new team members
- Assists in creating account development plans
- Performs inventory management for customer-specific material
- Communicates with operations team and may serve as a production meeting representative
- Occasional face-to-face customer interaction and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing sales; metal fabrication experience preferred
- Strong understanding of fabrication process such as welding, cutting, forming, machining, and assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
