Responsibilities
· Conduct routine inspection and maintenance on company vehicles and follow PM schedules to avoid preventable downtime.
· Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
· Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, including brakes, engines and transmissions.
· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles and provide updates to management.
· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in maintenance procedures while maintaining a clean, well-organized shop.
· Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies to enhance repair services.
· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the company and ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
· Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic methods
· Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools commonly used in vehicle maintenance
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Strong communication skills and ability to report on vehicle conditions and maintenance needs
· Valid NYS Drivers License
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
