This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, general repairs and adjustments to building systems and equipment. This will be onsite managing a portfolio of third-party maintenance agreements for RBS including maintenance programs, financial management, staff structure and customer relationship plans. The Engineer will provide a safe, productive, comfortable and clean working environment for building occupants; supervise portfolio engineering staff and interact with various subcontractors as needed.

Some Things You Can Expect To Do
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and duties on building equipment and systems per scheduled date.
- Manage and/or assist subcontractors with preventive maintenance, repairs and projects occurring on building systems, equipment or property.
- Respond, evaluate and complete tenant/service demand requests as ordered
- Working with the property manager to ensure proper services are provided to the building; project planning and completion, tenant Improvement planning and coordination
- Maintain mechanical rooms, utility rooms and vacant areas in a neat and clean condition daily
- Monitor energy system equipment, adjust set-points as needed, record actions and time associated daily
- Ensure Fire/Life/Safety equipment is performing as designed
- Provide on-call, after-hours and weekend emergency services as needed
- Complete Ryan required training and safety programs
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in building maintenance or related field
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment
- SMA, SMT, LEED certification, others as applicable preferred
- Located on-site at a Jacksonville location with potential to expand duties to other areas in Florida as region portfolio grows
- Ability to properly troubleshoot MEP system failures and make needed repairs and/or devise workable solutions
- Ability to prioritize workload while remaining flexible to a changing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of energy management systems
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lift 120 pounds required
- Ability to work from a ladder and work overhead is required
- Ability to smell smoke and other chemicals is required
- Ability to read typed documents, signs, labels and building prints is required
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance.
- Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
