The Opportunity
As Business Development Representative at RYAN, you won’t be pushing products. You’ll be earning trust. Your job is to get to know the businesses in your territory — their operations, their challenges, and the inefficiencies they may not even realize are costing them — and then bring them real, lasting solutions.
This is consultative selling at its best: listening first, advising second, and building relationships that last well beyond the first sale. You’ll manage a defined territory (with multiple open positions available across Connecticut and Massachusetts), with full support from a tenured team and an ownership group that is genuinely invested in your growth.
What You’ll Do
• Prospect and develop new business relationships through thoughtful, consultative outreach within your assigned territory.
• Engage decision-makers to understand their print management and document workflow challenges — and present tailored solutions.
• Manage and grow existing client relationships through regular business reviews (QBRs) and proactive account support.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our company, products, and services and how they can benefit prospective and current clients.
• Develop and deliver professional proposals and presentations to individuals and groups.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity in our CRM and collaborate closely with your teammates and support departments.
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and company initiatives designed to sharpen your skills and your career.

• Prior sales experience is a plus, particularly in office equipment or B2B technology — but not required. Recent graduates with the right character are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; CRM experience required.
