We are seeking a hands-on, technically skilled leader to oversee day-to-day activities within the Assembly Shop. This role is responsible for providing direction, technical expertise, and support to ensure efficient operations, product quality, and on-time delivery.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to resolve technical or process-related challenges on the shop floor.
• Work closely with the General Assembly Manager to set priorities and manage workloads to meet customer shipment commitments.
• Allocate assignments according to team members' skills and verify that standard assembly procedures are consistently applied.
• Monitor and update work orders and employee labor entries to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Foster a collaborative, professional, and safety-conscious work environment through positive leadership and example.
• When needed, assist in the assembly of standard and custom-built cabinets.
• Inspect finished assemblies and equipment to confirm quality standards are met prior to shipment.
• Contribute to performance evaluations by offering feedback and recommendations for employee development.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional related duties as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical lead or supervisory capacity within an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
• Proven ability to identify issues, prioritize tasks, and motivate team members toward successful outcomes.
• Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with a variety of hand tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and perform physical tasks for prolonged periods.
