Job Overview: Assists the Logistics Manager with ensuring that quality, coordinated patient transfers are secured for all applicable patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and program plans of the hospital. Assists with the development of patient care standards, orientation and continuing education. Provides input into the evaluation of Bed Management staff performance in accordance with organization policies. Participates in Quality Improvement programs. Assists with unit administration, including scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Maintains and role models clinical skills necessary to prioritize patient transfer and patient placement and enables safe, appropriate LOC for patients. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide age-specific treatment and care in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications
Required:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 3–5 years' acute nursing experience with one year of nursing department experience
- Successful completion of all orientation programs
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Certifications as required by law, stature and/or regulation for area or specialization
