MAIN FUNCTIONS
Provides senior-level onsite leadership and oversight of well completion operations. Responsible for ensuring completion activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with technical, financial, and environmental objectives. This role supports full lifecycle completions execution from rig release through handoff to production.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide onsite oversight of field operations including hydraulic fracturing, wireline, coiled tubing, snubbing, and workover operations
- Ensure all wells are completed in a safe, efficient, technically sound, and cost-effective manner
- Enforce and implement company health, safety, and environmental policies through proactive contractor oversight
- Manage completion schedules, logistics, and execution timelines to meet asset objectives
- Coordinate activities from drilling rig release through final handoff to production operations
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to optimize completion design and execution strategies
- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified service providers and vendors
- Maintain direct accountability for cost control and budget adherence across completion operations
- 15 years of oil & gas experience, with significant focus on completions operations
- Extensive experience supervising multi-service wellsite operations (frac, wireline, CT, snubbing, workover)
- Strong leadership experience managing field personnel and contractors
- Proven ability to manage multiple operations and priorities simultaneously
- Deep understanding of completion processes, safety standards, and operational best practices
- Demonstrated experience in cost control and budget management
- Experience in Permian Basin operations
- Prior Superintendent-level or equivalent leadership experience
- Strong vendor management and contractor oversight background
- Ability to influence and execute strategic operational plans
- Safety Sensitive Position
- Field-based role with significant time on location
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and varying field conditions
