Requirements:
Must be U.S. Citizen.
A current certification and registration as a Phlebotomy Technician from the American Society of
Clinical Pathology (PBT-ASCP);
OR
A current certification and registration as a Registered Phlebotomy Technician from the American Medical Laboratory Technologists (RPT-AMT).
A minimum of 1 year full-time experience within the last 3 years as a Phlebotomist.
Duties:
Perform phlebotomy-related administrative and clerical procedures of the front desk section of the lab, fully document all samples obtained per the laboratory’s standard operating procedures, and assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the front desk and phlebotomy area.
Start date:
- As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)
Schedule:
- The clinic operated Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 0630 to 1730 and Thursday from 0630 to 1930. The HCW shall provide services on a flexible basis across the clinic operating hours for an 8.5 to 9-hour shift, including an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute meal break, respectively. All shifts will be rotated with other phlebotomists. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of 80 hours per 2-week period.
Ability to commute:
- Reliably transportation required and expected for commute to and from work site.
