Support our customers and sales team through managing both web-based amp; customer interactions involving orders, deliveries, complaints, etc.… by handling the following essential duties amp; responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to:
- Excellent customer service phone skills with the ability to take incoming calls.
- Assess amp; anticipate customer satisfaction issues amp; make recommendations for process improvements.
- Consult with customers by phone and email to provide product information, pricing, delivery information and take orders as well as resolve any customer concerns.
- Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment regarding various issues when Supervisor is unavailable.
- Enter incoming orders, add quotes, responds to e-mails in a timely manner, tracks shipments against schedule and makes every effort to ensure the customer's expectations are being met.
- The position is responsible for tracking and reporting routine actions weekly and monthly to management.
- Manages all order related paperwork.
- Responsible for all order acknowledgements.
- Able to prioritize amp; work independently with minimal supervision.
- Research and answer requests from customers regarding shipments amp; releases of shipments from both phone and email inquiries.
- Assists amp; support sales team with documents amp; spreadsheets.
- Daily filing generated from new orders, changes, amp; shipments.
- Yearly close amp; clean up customer files.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
Requirements:
PC literate in Microsoft Word amp; Excel.
Tool$ systems or other comparable data bases.
Intermediate data entry skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Minimum 2 years sales / support experience.
2-year college or trade school is preferred.
Excellent communication skills both verbal amp; written.
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
