Overview:
The Compliance Specialist will be a key member of the Corporate Compliance team and is expected to embrace RW Dake Construction’s culture of quality and safety. This opening is available for both our Rochester and Corning New York Offices
Responsibilities:
These responsibilities/functions may include but are not limited to the following:
· Collaborate with the Director of Compliance to understand all position expectations
· Communicate with EVP/General Counsel regarding contract requirements
· Participate in committees or projects responsible for the quality and timelines of compliance services
· Ensure the organization operates in accordance with state, federal, and local laws
· Perform compliance audits to determine whether established policies are being followed and where they can be improved to prevent risks that could adversely affect our operations
· Communicate any compliance issues in a professional and timely manner to ensure deficiencies are corrected and business practices can be adjusted appropriately
· Track established compliance metrics for the company
· Assist with creating dashboards and reports for Senior Management reviews on compliance and company related performance
· Actively participate in compliance meetings to ensure company standards are being met
· Assist in maintaining compliance and internal company policies and procedures
· Promotes forward thinking and implementing positive change
Required Competencies/Skills:

· Problem solving skills
· Prior compliance, insurance, and/or contract review experience required
· Excellent verbal and written communication along with the ability to work collaboratively with emotional intelligence and professionalism

· Proactive in seeking out additional responsibilities and feedback on performance
· Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications
· Being open minded with a desire to learn and grow
· Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds regularly/occasionally. Sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and or fingers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
