RVNAhealth is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Revenue Cycle Coordinator to join our Finance Operations team. In this important support role, you will assist with day-to-day billing activities across multiple service lines, helping ensure timely claims submission, accurate documentation, and responsive follow-up on insurance and patient accounts. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator contributes directly to the financial health of the organization while supporting a positive experience for patients, families, and staff.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Health Pre-Bill Auditor Workflow by reviewing documentation for completeness and ensuring claims are ready for timely release.

  • Collaborate with the outsourced billing processor by gathering information, submitting corrections, and helping resolve denied or delayed claims.

  • Assist with obtaining insurance preauthorization and processing physician orders for Medicare Part B services.

  • Prepare private-pay invoices, track payment activity, and conduct follow-up outreach on outstanding balances.

  • Provide courteous, accurate assistance to patients, families, and internal teams regarding billing questions and reimbursement processes.

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Corporate Compliance standards, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.

  • Perform additional revenue cycle support duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a billing, finance, or administrative support role; exposure to Medicare billing or commercial insurance highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with HomeCare HomeBase, WebPT, and/or Axxess is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to learn and navigate billing systems and workflows.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and high-quality customer service.

Compensation:
The pay range listed represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
