The Orders Management Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and processing physician orders for RVNAhealth's home health, hospice, and chronic care programs. This individual ensures timely return of orders, maintains accurate documentation, and supports efficient communication between internal teams and physician offices.

The Orders Management Specialist is responsible for managing, tracking, and processing physician orders for RVNAhealth's home health, hospice, and chronic care programs. This individual ensures timely return of orders, maintains accurate documentation, and supports efficient communication between internal teams and physician offices.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Process Management
- Process and fax Physician Orders daily to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Track outstanding orders and follow up with physician offices according to established protocols.
- Enroll physicians in Forcura Circle and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with physicians, staff, and internal teams to ensure timely submission and return of signed orders.
- Identify conflicting or incomplete information and work toward timely resolution.
- Scan and upload documents to patient records as required.
- Maintain compliance with all RVNAhealth policies and regulatory requirements, including Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, Medicare Conditions of Participation, state licensure rules, and Community Health Accreditation Program standards.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and required meetings.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience; familiarity with medical terminology required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; significant data entry experience within database systems and/or medical claims billing preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
- College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent accepted with relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexible team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
