RUYE Athletics is seeking a passionate, motivated, and dedicated Prep Basketball Head Coach to lead our competitive basketball program.
This opportunity is designed for up-and-coming coaches looking to gain valuable experience, build their coaching résumé, develop their leadership skills, and establish their name in the basketball community.
We are not necessarily looking for a coach with years of experience. We are looking for someone who is hungry, knowledgeable, committed, and ready to prove themselves.
Our mission is to develop student-athletes both on and off the court while providing emerging coaches with opportunities to grow their careers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the prep basketball team during games and competitions.
- Develop game strategies, offensive systems, and defensive schemes.
- Evaluate player performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Build strong relationships with student-athletes.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship.
- Assist with player development and college recruitment exposure.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program directors.
- Represent RUYE Athletics professionally at games, tournaments, and basketball events.
- Work with program leadership to build a competitive and successful team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
- Previous playing or coaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, teach, and develop young athletes.
- Must be dependable, professional, and committed to the team.
- Must be available for scheduled games and tournaments.
- Willingness to learn, improve, and grow as a basketball coach.
- Must complete any required background checks and youth-safety training.
Pay: $40.00 per day
