Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative Facilitator of Teaching and Learning. The Facilitator of Teaching and Learning supports the effective implementation of district curriculum and instructional programs by partnering with educators to strengthen instructional practices and ensure alignment to established scope and sequence. Through coaching, modeling, and feedback, this role builds teacher capacity particularly for new and probationary educators, those on intensive assistance plans, and those seeking support to deliver high-quality, standards-aligned Tier 1 instruction. The Facilitator also designs and facilitates professional learning for individuals, teams, and staff, with a focus on deepening curriculum knowledge, strengthening instructional routines, and using assessment to inform instruction in alignment with district priorities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide job-embedded coaching (modeling, co-teaching, observation, and feedback) to ensure strong implementation of district curriculum and to strengthen Tier 1 instructional practices.Build educator capacity particularly for new and probationary teachers, those on plans of intensive assistance, and those seeking support to deliver standards-aligned instruction.Support consistent implementation of district curriculum by deepening teacher understanding of scope, sequence, and instructional routines.Design, facilitate, and coordinate professional learning aligned to district priorities that strengthens curriculum use, instructional practices, and assessment literacy.Use classroom-based evidence and assessment data to identify instructional needs and guide targeted support within an MTSS framework.Ensure curriculum, instruction, and programming are implemented with fidelity to improve student outcomes.Collaborate with district and school leaders to ensure coherence across instructional initiatives, programs, and professional learning.Contribute to the development and refinement of instructional systems (e.g., MTSS, WIN blocks, intervention structures) to strengthen Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports.Model and promote equitable instructional practices that support access, engagement, and inclusive learning environments.Monitor and support educators with temporary licensure to ensure compliance with state requirements.Provide regular updates to the Assistant Superintendent of CIA regarding program implementation and educator growth.Facilitate school and district planning efforts aligned to instructional priorities and continuous improvement goals.Serve as a lead learner and instructional resource across the district.Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of CIA.QUALIFICATIONSMust hold or be eligible for VT Agency of Education License in appropriate grade level and concentration (Grades K-8 and/or 7-12)Masters degree preferredMinimum of 5 years teaching experience Demonstrated strengths as an educational leader, communicator, and collaborator.Please apply through schoolspring.com to.Deb Alexander, Assistant Superintendent of CIA
