The Rutland City Public Schools’ Tapestry & EPIC Program is seeking a kind, dynamic, and passionate professional to join our team as an Assistant Site Coordinator for Summer 2026!
We’re seeking candidates with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to support a safe, engaging, and enriching summer program.
The Assistant Site Coordinator helps lead staff, maintain daily operations, and create a positive, welcoming environment for children and families.
Program Details:
Program operating dates: Wednesday, July 1st through Friday, August 7th
Closed Monday, July 6th, in observance of Independence Day
Tapestry Program operating hours:8:00 am - 5:30 pm
In-service days:
Tuesday, June 23rd - CPR/FA/AED Certifications
Wednesday, June 24th - New Hire Orientation (NHO)
Thursday, June 25th - Professional Development Day for all
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Vermont Teaching License or ability to obtain, preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children in a public school or licensed child care setting (CDD/VAE/School standards), required
- Complete fingerprinting and clear background checks for both AOE and child care licensing
