Part-Time Academic Tutor-REPOSTED

Part-Time Academic Tutor Grant-funded- This position will support students to improve academic success by providing academic assistance and targeted instruction in the areas of literacy and mathematics. This position will involve working with students individually and/or in small groups. It will include communicating with core teachers, team members, and administrators. The tutor will be asked to monitor the progress of students on specific goals and proficiencies. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in math and literacy education and those with experience working with elementary students. The tutor will work up to 18 hours per week. A Vermont educator’s licensure is desirable. Position to begin immediately.
