Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Fine Dining Server Assistant to join our team here at Ruth's Chris Steak House. Fine Dining Serving experience is required, as we are looking for the right individual with the skills, personality and team-oriented drive necessary to work in an upscale restaurant specializing in exceptional hospitality and service. Our shared goal is to not only create a memorable, world-class dining experience for all of our guests, but also to create an amazing and thoroughly enjoyable experience for everyone on our team. Late afternoon through evening availability is mandatory, and you must be able to work year round. Weekends and some holidays are required. Please be 18 years old. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Thorough knowledge of menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience
- Assist with the service of food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and a french-style of service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and communicating them to the team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Previous fine dining experience is preferred, showcasing familiarity with upscale service standards.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols within the culinary field.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members alike.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
