Annual Salary: $62,909 - $67,512
The purpose of this classification is to supervise work activities and to perform security work associated with maintaining the safety, security and welfare of detainees at the Juvenile Detention Center. Duties and responsibilities include supervising an assigned function/area of the facility, supervising activities of employees and/or detainees assigned to specific area, coordinating and monitoring activities, performing administrative tasks, enforcing facility rules and regulations, processing incoming detainees, monitoring activities and behavior of detainees, coordinating provision of food, medical care and supplies for detainees, preparing documentation, maintaining records, performing tasks specific to area of assignment, and performing related tasks as assigned.
