Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in preparing delicious dishes that delight our customers, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and kitchen operations will help us create memorable dining experiences every day.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements and new dish ideas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist with catering orders and special event meal preparations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
