Overview
We are looking for a reliable, experienced laborer to help with general campground maintenance. This is a part-time position averaging about 25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. The work is hands-on and outdoors, helping maintain a clean, safe, and enjoyable campground environment. Experience with woodworking or basic electrical skills is a plus.
This position is a great fit for a veteran or retiree who enjoys physical work and working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, landscaping, and trash removal to keep campground areas clean and inviting
- Painting cabins, buildings, signs, and other structures
- Basic woodworking and minor repairs
- Light electrical work (if qualified)
- General upkeep of campground facilities
- Other maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in general labor, maintenance, or similar work
- Woodworking and/or basic electrical experience preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically able to perform manual labor
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- Veterans and retirees are strongly encouraged to apply
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable performing physical work outdoors
