In this role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, processes payments, and ensures everyone feels valued and cared for. - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
- Assist with food running, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings when needed
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is key
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for processing payments and managing tabs
- Experience in fine dining or casual restaurant environments is beneficial but not mandatory
