Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including bussing tables and food prep stations
- Assist with food preparation and food safety protocols as needed to support kitchen staff
- Manage reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms to optimize seating flow
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly
- Support team members with duties such as food running, host/hostess responsibilities, or nightclubbing duties when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on guest relations and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards within the food industry
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with fine dining service or nightclub environments is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to foster guest satisfaction and team collaboration
- Previous host/hostess experience or serving background is advantageous
