For nearly three decades, RSM students have consistently achieved outstanding results on standardized tests and in math competitions. But beyond test scores, our mission is to help every student become a confident, independent thinker with a deep and lasting understanding of math.
We’re looking for candidates who love math and teaching as much as we do.
This position is based in
our Newton, MA office
. Remote work as a contractor may be possible depending on location.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with Senior Methodologists to create and refine lesson materials
- Develop engaging problem sets, presentations, and sample Whiteboards
- Review lessons for clarity, skill coverage, and overall flow
Keep our content databases neat and well-structured
You’ll also stay connected to the classroom, teaching 8–10 hours a week. Since RSM is an afterschool program, classes are held during afternoon or evening hours or weekends.
What we hope you bring:
Solid understanding of middle school Algebra and Geometry (Calculus is a plus)
1–3 years of experience with curriculum or methodology work
A genuine interest in both teaching and educational design
Ability to take and apply feedback thoughtfully, while working independently and taking ownership of your projects
Willingness to relocate to Newton, MA , or potentially work remotely as a contractor
