Field Service (approx. 50% of your time)
Up to 50% of your time will be travelling to local customer facilities for preventative maintenance and installations.
Required Experience:
$30.00 to $38.00 per hour

Field Service (approx. 50% of your time)
- You will perform field installations and start-ups, preventative maintenance, inspect/conduct performance tests to verify that product complies with manufacturing prints and application engineering/purchase specifications and requirements, and document installed product performance.
- You will conduct training and instruct the product users in proper operation and maintenance of our products.
- You will troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate various operating systems of refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical components utilizing prints and schematics to bring/return products to fully operational condition.
- You will establish, maintain, and develop positive relationships with customers. This involves contacting customers to coordinate service calls at their facility, to generate work, to explain the benefits of refrigeration and controller retrofits, to establish preventive maintenance contracts, and perform general service work.
- Connect electrical systems of environmental test chambers according to wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- Perform start-up and functional testing of all chamber components including refrigeration, electrical, heating, humidification, and control systems.
- Verify proper operation of chambers, identifying and resolving issues before shipment.
- Troubleshoot and collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to troubleshoot and correct any functional discrepancies.
- Document test results, including temperatures, voltages, pressures, alarms, and and non-conformities found.
- Assist with final system calibration and adjustments to ensure performance meets design specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes while performing testing activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
Up to 50% of your time will be travelling to local customer facilities for preventative maintenance and installations.
- 100% of travel costs paid by the company.

Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in, HVAC, or mechanical fields preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including electrical and refrigeration schematics, mechanical drawings, and test procedures.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, or related manufacturing roles.
- Minimum 2 years work experience or training in commercial / industrial refrigeration or HVAC/R.
- Experience with electronics and controls programming.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience or training in cascade refrigeration systems.
- EPA Universal Certificate.
- Work experience in the environmental simulation systems industry.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work on equipment for extended periods.
- Lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
- Use of hand tools and PPE as required.
