The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring a "Quality Control Technician" for a top leading Biotech organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments following established procedures
- Prepare, characterize, and test abrasive samples and resin formulations
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Collect, analyze, and document test data accurately
- Investigate and troubleshoot product testing issues with cross-functional teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
- Follow all laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience (industrial, academic, government, or military)
- Reliable transportation for this onsite position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Technical degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with manufacturing or pilot plant equipment
- Knowledge of chemical handling and laboratory safety practices
- Mechanical or technical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and laboratory equipment interfaces
Additional Information:
- Pay range: $21–$24/hour
- Location: Maplewood, MN
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour workday
- Duration: 12 months
