Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional client service to multi-state companies regarding property tax compliance.
- Review and evaluate information included in property tax returns before, during, and after preparation.
- Assist with property tax bill payments and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS).
- Review assessment notices to identify discrepancies and escalate issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience, including at least two years in personal property tax compliance, specifically preparing property tax returns, managing bill payments, and reviewing valuation notices using PTMS (Property Tax Software — required).
- Bachelor’s degree required; J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, MST, or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred.
- Experience with additional tax types and an understanding of how they impact property tax.
- Strong knowledge of property tax planning, development, and execution processes.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and personal accountability, with a commitment to maintaining a respectful and courteous work environment.
*** Pay Rate- $40-$64/hour
